Nuveen Real Estate has acquired a state-of-the-art logistics distribution centre in Duisburg from Hillwood on behalf of a European specialist fund.
Strategically located near the Port of Duisburg, the world’s largest inland port and a key terminus on the New Silk Road, the property offers 28,500 square metres of highly flexible logistics space in the heart of the Rhine-Ruhr region.
It has excellent multimodal connectivity via road, rail and the Rhine, making it ideal for distribution. It is fully let to a logistics service provider.
The building meets Nuveen's high sustainability standards. It features 100% LED lighting, a timber roof structure and a photovoltaic system. The property aims for DGNB Gold cert.
