Nova Ambiente assists Redevco in the purchase of a Multi-use Park in Duisburg
GARBE Industrial and BREMER Projektentwicklung have sold a multi-use park in the Meiderich district of Duisburg to Redevco.
They have constructed three buildings on the former 'Zeus site' (a 56,000m2 former steel industry brownfield site) with a total floor area of almost 29,500m2.
BREMER acted as both joint venture partner and main contractor. The tenants are mostly from the e-commerce sector.
The site is well connected to the national road network. The A59 and A42 motorways are nearby and the A2 is accessible via the A42.
The three buildings are heated by heat pumps and operate without fossil fuels, and 6,380 photovoltaic modules (2.647 MWp) have been installed on the roof.
GARBE Industrial and BREMER are aiming for Gold Standard certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) for the multi-user park.
Ambiente Deutschland GmbH acted as environmental advisors to Redevco.
