Vengrove, a pan-European property investment manager, has acquired a 6,026 m² logistics property in Wuppertal for €14.70 million.

This is the company’s second purchase in the Rhine-Ruhr region, Germany’s largest metropolitan area, within two months and follows the purchase of a 16,571 m² property in Leverkusen for €23.10 million in July.

The property is a 6,026 m² logistics warehouse built in 2015 to a high standard. The cross-dock facility has 59 loading bays and a 27 per cent site utilisation rate. It is also equipped with a charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and a rooftop photovoltaic system.

The site is 25 km east of Düsseldorf on the A1, a major link between Cologne and Hamburg. It is well connected to the A43, A46 and A535, giving easy access to the whole Rhine-Ruhr region.

The site is used as an automated parcel distribution centre for Wuppertal and the surrounding area and is currently occupied by Deutsche Post Immobilien GmbH.

Vengrove was supported by Ambiente Deutschland GmbH
