Nova-Ambiente advised Blackstone/Mileway as they strengthened their last mile logistics portfolio in the UK and France with a £250 million deal for 50 assets from InfraRed Capital Partners.
The UK element of the portfolio totals 1.6 million sq ft of space, located mainly in the north west of England near the metropolitan areas of Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Sheffield. The properties are occupied by leading domestic and international household names including Amazon, FedEx and Boots.
The properties in France comprise 0.6 million sq ft of space, all located in the Greater Paris region within well established industrial hubs such as Malakoff, Massy, Palaiseau and Choisy. Through this acquisition, Mileway will add French manufacturing and logistics conglomerate Daher, Swiss Post (the national postal service of Switzerland), and luxury watch and jewellery manufacturer Richard Mille to its diverse list of customers in France.
