Based in Cologne, Germany, the team focuses on the German-speaking region and has many years of experience in environmental risk assessment (Phase I Environmental Due Diligence), environmental management, building contaminant investigations, and soil and groundwater investigations (Phase II). We are also active in the field of sustainability (ESG) and carry out BREEAM certification for buildings and businesses as well as natural hazard screening and climate analyses.
Since 2006, we have been supporting and advising institutional and private investors, property developers, banks, and corporations on all environmental issues relating to property transactions in an international context. Our long-term environmental management offers fund companies advantages in reducing environmental risks and at the same time increasing and maintaining the value of existing properties used in an environmentally responsible manner.

The consideration of environmental issues serves as a basis for decision-making by investors and financiers. Our team is made up of experts from a wide range of disciplines who work together to develop intelligent solutions that property owners can 'feel good about'.

Recurring audits provide us with a solid order situation, but also a constantly growing volume of work for which we need support.
What You Can Expect
An interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals working on a wide range of environmental due diligence, environmental management, soil/groundwater investigation/remediation, building demolition, and sustainability. As an Environmental Consultant, you are the direct point of contact for our clients and the successful completion of projects.

Your areas of responsibility include:

Auditing and processing of environmental due diligence and environmental management projects throughout Germany and German-speaking countries, especially for commercial/industrial properties

Processing of projects with international project teams

Support and collaboration on projects in the areas of building pollutants, contaminated sites, and remediation/monitoring
Your Qualification
-
Successfully completed studies in a natural science, environmental science or engineering subject and professional experience in the field of environmental site assessment or georesource management

Expertise in the field of environmental risk assessment and the handling of hazardous substances

Communication skills and competent interaction with customers and property service providers

Reliability and the ability to structure tasks with analytical thinking, even under difficult / time-critical conditions; problem-solving skills

Willingness to travel (mainly nationally and for one day)

Very good written and spoken German and business fluent English skills

Experienced handling of MS Office programmes

Enjoyment of professional development, willingness to learn and commitment
