The Role
-
To support the EDD team including ordering, downloading and collation of various data sources.

Assisting with completing desk studies (setting up reports, review of datarooms /third party public databases/ Local Authority consultation, interpretation of historical map information, environmental sensitivity assessments, and basic risk assessments).

Auditing on site visits for a range of property types within the UK and producing timely, accurate reporting of site visit findings.
Skills Required
-
A broad understanding and experience of environmental assessments, the process and the standard information required to generate environmental reports.

Advanced Word skills and general IT confidence.

Excellent attention to detail and written English, and the ability to produce concise, accurate and interpretive reports.

Good project and time-management as well as a strong work ethic.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Ordering and collating data (historical mapping, geological maps, hydrogeological /hydrological information, third-party databases, regulatory authority information, etc).

Setting up of reporting templates, project folders and contracts etc.

Reviewing data room information and third-party reports etc, and assisting with report production as appropriate.

Lead / sole auditor on site visits.

Leading elements of projects with client and sub-contractor interaction.

Partial / full project management (depending on Grade).

Assisting with training of graduate level consultants.
